Founded in Normandy by Claude Chamot, Le Chameau was created in response to the needs of farmers, hunters and fishermen looking for rubber boots that could withstand demanding conditions without sacrificing comfort. Each boot is assembled by a single trained Maître bottier using carefully prepared rubber, precision-cut components and time-honoured techniques. The finished boots are vulcanised for flexibility and durability before every pair is individually tested for waterproof performance.
