Rufford’s is very personal to me. I want it to be somewhere people genuinely enjoy shopping, somewhere that feels welcoming, relaxed and a little different from what you might expect.
We have our roots in the countryside, and that will always be part of who we are, but I think Rufford’s has become something much broader than a traditional country store. You don’t have to live in the countryside to shop with us. For me, it’s simply about great clothes, brilliant brands and finding pieces you’ll genuinely love wearing.
I personally choose every brand and collection you see at Rufford’s. I do all of the buying myself, so everything we stock has been hand-picked because I genuinely believe it belongs here. When I’m looking at something new, I always ask myself whether it feels like Rufford’s. It has to be well made, wearable and something I believe our customers will genuinely love.
More than anything, I want Rufford’s to stay personal as we grow. I love that our teams get to know our customers, give honest advice and create the kind of experience you just don’t get everywhere.
I want us to be known for choosing great products, looking after people properly and creating an experience that people genuinely want to come back to.
