Refund policy
At Ruffords Country Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we are happy to assist you with returns or exchanges within the terms outlined below.
1. Refund & Return Eligibility
Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days from the date of purchase as long as the item has not been worn and is in the same condition as it was when purchased. After 14 days, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
· The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
· The item must be in its original packaging.
Certain products are non-returnable. These include:
· Gift cards
· Earrings
We do not offer refunds for sale items; we will either exchange the item for another of the same value or provide the same value on gift card only.
We offer exchanges for swapping size/colour/item if this falls within the refund/exchange condition and timing rules mentioned above.
To complete your return, we require proof of purchase (e.g., a receipt or order confirmation). Please note: Do not send your return directly to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent to our designated returns address.
3. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If your return is approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (credit card, debit card, or other payment method) within a certain number of days.
4. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please check the following:
1. Bank Account: Review your bank account again.
2. Credit Card Company: Contact your credit card company—there may be a processing delay before the refund is officially posted.
3. Bank: If the payment was processed through your bank, contact them directly as there can often be a delay in posting refunds.

5. Sale Items
Only non-sale items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale items are not eligible for a refund. However, they may be exchanged where the refund and returns eligibility conditions are met (as above).
6. Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please follow these steps: 1. Email us at info@ruffords.com to request an exchange.
2. Send the item to the return address provided.
7. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, we will issue a gift credit for the value of your return. A gift certificate will be sent to you once the returned item has been processed. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or if the gift-giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, the refund will be issued to the gift-giver, and they will be notified about the return.
8. Shipping Returns
To return your product, please mail it to the following address: Rufford’s Country Lifestyle, 119 Garstang Road, Claughton-on-Brock, Preston PR3 0PH.
You will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping where you wish to return an item. If the item is found to be faulty we will cover the cost of the return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your return is refunded due to a product fault, the return shipping cost will be refunded to you. If you are returning an item of significant value, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
