Wrendale Designs
Wrendale Designs was created in 2012, by Hannah Dale, in Lincolnshire. Hannah originally studied art at school, before reading Zoology at Cambridge University. Hannah went on to be a stockbroker in London for five years, however her passion lay in art.
After trying her hand at sewing cushions and curtains, and making personalised nursery paintings for children, Hannah combined her love for animals and art, and started painting and drawing wildlife and attempted to make a living from her work. It was suggested to Hannah that she should design some greetings cards, and the business has grown ever since. Wrendale now produce everything from stationery, to watches and scarfs.

Collaborations & Awards
The brand collaborated with Portmeirion to put Hannah’s designs on mugs, ceramics and other kitchen items. Hannah first began painting hares, as she loved their expressions and wonderful personalities. Hannah has since branched out and now paints animals from all over the world.
Wrendale Designs has since won five prestigious Henries awards for their greeting cards, which in the greeting card industry, is equivalent to the Oscars. The brand was also awarded a Queens Award for export in 2019, for their excellence in international trade, as their overseas success continues to soar.

Our Top Picks
Hannah creates animal characters, with each character featuring on their own range of products. These include keyrings, pocket mirrors, socks and water bottles. Wrendale Designs make the perfect gifts, so here are some of our favourites!
Bessie Cow Cushion
Proudly made in England, the Bessie Cow Cushion features a bright, colourful image of Bessie the cow surrounded by lovely red tulips. The design is printed onto quality cotton-linen blend fabric. The cushion is finished with green piping, complimenting the cushion beautifully. The inside of the cushion is filled with ethically sourced feathers, which are a by-product of other industry, and do not drive the demand for animal products.
Flowers Socks
These super soft socks feature a cheeky, yet charming image of a giraffe, chewing flowers on a vivid orange background. A real treat for your feet, these socks are naturally anti-bacterial, moisture wicking, warm, yet breathable. The socks are made from 100% Oeko-Tex Bamboo. This means the bamboo used is organic and more sustainable, as the growing process uses much less water than cotton and does not use any toxic chemicals, keeping soil and surrounding habitats natural and healthy.
Birds of a Feather Water Bottle
The Birds of a Feather design is of the cutest little owls you will ever see, lovingly snuggling each other! Hot or cold drinks can be enjoyed with this 500ml bottle, and it keeps its temperature for up to 12 hours. The bottle is made from stainless steel and is BPA free.
