The Best of British Fashion for all your Jubilee Events

31st May 2022

The longest reigning monarch in history, Queen Elizabeth II, is about to become the first British monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne. Born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary in 1926, Elizabeth was crowned Queen in 1953, watched by a TV audience of around 20 million people. Elizabeth became Queen in 1952, after the death of her father, King George VI.

Since her birth in 1926, the Queen has lived through some of the most important events in history; World War II, the launch of the NHS, man walking on the moon, Chernobyl, the Cuban Missile crisis, the invention of the world wide web, the coronavirus pandemic, and much, much more! Queen Eliabeth II has travelled to around 110 countries across six continents, making her the most travelled monarch in the world.
